Changes to the Summer Session.
COVID-19 Response Plan
Summer Session will run June 20th – July 25
Classes will run from 10:20 – 11:10 (to prevent crowding before our 11:30 class.)
Students from different households will maintain at least 6 feet of distance from one another.
Parents who wish to remain in the waiting area will be asked to wear masks.
We will have other practices in place to reduce the risk of contagion and contamination.
Kids’ Classes focus on developing basic taekwondo skills and etiquette in a fun, kid-friendly, and safe environment. Open to students 5-6 years old, kids’ classes run in six week sessions that teach rudimentary strikes, blocks, and stances. Kids’ class works to improve agility, flexibility, confidence, and coordination.
Heart of the Bear also prepares young martial artists for our open classes.
Walk-ins are welcome, but Kids’ Classes have limited enrollment–contact us to secure your spot.
Hi Hillary this is Jaci Kottman I was wanting to get Kenna 12 yr and Kade 6yr into a class to see if they like it and how much it would be.
Hi, Jaci,
Sorry for the delay in response.
Kenna is certainly old enough for open classes. Those start anytime: We have classes Mon-Thu from 6-7 and Saturday from 11:30- 12:30. Students typically attend 2-3 classes / week as fits their schedules.
Kade should probably try kids’ classes. We started last Saturday–but Kade can still join this session.
Kids’ class is Saturday morning from 10:20 – 11:10. There are 5 more weeks in the current session. The next one will start sometime in mid January 2021 (viruses permitting.)
please email us directly if you have any other questions.
Sincerely,
Mike Catron
