Heart of the Bear: Taekwondo for Kids
Kids’ Classes focus on developing basic taekwondo skills and etiquette in a fun, kid-friendly, and safe environment. Open to students 5-6 years old, kids’ classes run in six week sessions that teach rudimentary strikes, blocks, and stances. Kids’ class works to improve agility, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Heart of the Bear also prepares young martial artists for our open classes.
Walk-ins are welcome, but Kids’ Classes have limited enrollment–contact us to secure your spot.

Do you offer classes for children with ADHD AND PTSD. My sons/grandsons therapist highly recommended that he take classes. How much are your classes ? My income is limited but more than willing to give this a try if it will help him.

Kids’ classes cost $95 for 6 lessons. These are available for students 5+
Open classes cost $55 a month. These are open to students 7+.
We offer discounts for families, so a second and third membership cost less.

We offer kids’ classes for students 5-7 and open classes for students 7+. We don’t have special classes for students with particular conditions, but we have had students of a variety of ages with a variety of emotional, physical, and intellectual challenges. Generally, the structure of class and the high activity creates a positive environment for people with attention disorder; each individual is unique of course.

A basic membership costs $55 a month. We offer family discounts for additional members from the same household.
